    MREDC Website Launched
    University of Maryland Extension has New Tool for Rural and Community Development

    The Maryland Rural Enterprise Development Center (MREDC) website site has been launched at www.mredc.umd.edu. MREDC serves the agricultural and natural resources community through programming and support of agricultural businesses and rural entrepreneurs, processors, new and next-generation farmers, and other agricultural support agencies and organizations.

    The Forest Landowners Association is calling for 2009 awards nominations for the following categories: Lifetime Achievement Award; Forest Landowner of the Year Award; Extension Forester of the Year Award; Young Forest landowner of the Year Award.
