Timber Tax Accountants

The sale of forest products is an occasional activity for many forest landowners. Unfortunately, finding an accountant or forestry professional who is knowledgeable in handling timber taxes is difficult, but the saving can be very real and substantial. The following Certified Public Accountants and Professional Foresters have attended a one-day seminar on timber taxes in either 1999 or 2000 sponsored by Maryland Cooperative Extension, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the USDA Forest Service State & Private Forestry. While we cannot guarantee the quality of services, all these individuals have asked to be included on this list.
